The Kitsap County Silverdale Waterfront Park and Port of Silverdale boat launch offer visitors some wonderful attractions and amenities. The waterfront park has a gazebo, a large playground for kids, sandy beach, waterfront trail access, picnic tables, restrooms, with shops and cafes right across the street. The Port of Silverdale provides a public boat ramp, trailer parking, guest moorage, showers, and restrooms. And spectacular views as well!

Historic buildings from the late 1800s are still in use today in Old Town Silverdale and are now home to cafes, crapes, spas, salons, and shops. The main district is located directly across from the Silverdale Waterfront Park, one of the most popular parks in the region and a favorite of families thanks to all the family- and pet-friendly amenities. It includes a large play area and picnic shelters. There are several casual dining cafes in the area. One of the newest additions to the district is Kettle Fish, which offers fresh from the sea fare. Sit on the patio or take your food a short walk to the waterfront park gazebo. Also, stop in at Monica's Waterfront Bakery & Cafe, a comfy mainstay providing quiches, panini, boxed lunches & pastries in a down-to-earth atmosphere.

"Silverdale", a part of the Images of America series, tells the story of Silverdale's early history. In the 1850s, William Littlewood was the first settler in the Clear Creek area. Gateway ParkThe beautiful 6-mile Clear Creek Trail, which winds behind and around Silverdale's retail area and through a salmon habitat, wetlands, and a picnic area. Clear Creek Trail is a favorite among locals and is used year-round. WA State AudubonOne of the main entrances to the trail is just a few blocks from the hotels on Silverdale Way at Silverdale Rotary Gateway Park, which has free parking, a separate dog park, skate park, and restrooms.  Near the hotels on the waterfront is Old Mill Park, with picnic areas, restrooms, a beach and access to the Clear Creek Trail Estuary, and two official Washington State Audubon Birding sites.
