The Suquamish Museum facility opened in September 2012. From the moment you walk between the welcoming posts, the path through the exhibit, Ancient Shores – Changing Tides will engage your senses. Movement, textures, a forest-inspired environment and the symbolic movement of the tide will touch the imagination. The objects owned by the Suquamish Museum and those on loan from Suquamish families and other museums, will engage visitors to learn about the culture of the Suquamish and Coast Salish Tribes.
