Suquamish Museum

The Suquamish Museum opened in 1983, and currently offers a self-guided tour through Suquamish culture from ancient times to today. A multimedia presentation shares their stories, while a scavenger hunt adds fun by revealing hidden history. Visitors can explore the gift shop with Native American art and visit Chief Seattle’s (siʔał) gravesite to learn about his impact on Suquamish history. The journey ends at the House of Awakened Culture, where a traditional longhouse offers a glimpse into Suquamish life.
