Friday

Since we stayed in Seabeck, we kicked off our weekend with a quick drive-through at Cup of Joe, where we grabbed fresh coffee and delicious bagels to enjoy on the go. After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll through Scenic Beach State Park to soak in the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest—those lush forests and the sparkling shoreline were just gorgeous! For lunch, we hit up The Shack, a local favorite with amazing views of the boardwalk. Then we explored Harborside Fountain Park and checked out some charming downtown shops. Later in the evening, we treated ourselves to some ramen at Yoko Yoko and wrapped up the night at Ashley’s Pub with friends playing board games. It was a perfect way to start the weekend.

Saturday

We started our day with a hearty brunch at Garage Bar & Grill, and let me tell you, their inventive dishes and generous portions were amazing! Feeling energized after breakfast, we headed out for a hike to Dickerson Falls. The trail was so peaceful, and the view of the waterfall surrounded by lush greenery really made it worth it. Later in the evening, we made our way to Manette for dinner at The Boat Shed, where the breathtaking water views created the perfect backdrop for our meal. To cap off the night, we dove into the local music scene at Manette Saloon, enjoying some live music and the lively atmosphere. Day 2 for the win!

Sunday

We started our day at Larry & Kristi’s Scratch Bakery, indulging in yummy donuts in a cozy little park. Next, we explored Illahee State Park, learning about its fascinating history, checking out the cannons, and wandering along scenic trails. The charming dock and easy beach access were absolutely stunning! After that, we visited the Kitsap History Museum, which was free and super informative—did you know Quincy Jones is from Bremerton? After a day of exploring, we refueled at Evergreen Pizza with refreshing drinks, a crisp salad, and possibly my favorite pizza in Kitsap! We headed home ready for a good night’s sleep before the work week started.
