Live music on the boardwalk. Food trucks and local vendors along the waterfront. Boats gathering in the Port Washington Narrows as the sun goes down. Then, at 10:15 p.m., the Manette Bridge becomes the launchpad for one of Kitsap’s most spectacular summer nights.
This is Bremerton Bridge Blast: a free, two-day waterfront festival that turns downtown Bremerton into an early Fourth of July celebration, complete with live entertainment, family-friendly fun, and a fireworks show that explodes over the water.
Bremerton Bridge Blast is a summer festival and fireworks celebration held the Saturday before Independence Day, with festivities continuing into Sunday. The main festival takes place along the Louis Mentor Bremerton Boardwalk, just steps from the Bremerton ferry terminal, with live music, food vendors, a beer garden, and more than 90 vendors planned for 2026.
The centerpiece is Saturday night’s fireworks show, launched from the Manette Bridge at 10:15 p.m. Organizers describe Bridge Blast as one of Bremerton’s signature events, drawing boaters, families, and visitors from across Washington for a waterfront celebration that feels unmistakably Kitsap.

The live music schedule is still to come, so check the official Bridge Blast schedule closer to the event for updated entertainment details.
There are two official viewing areas, and each offers a different kind of Bridge Blast experience.
For festival energy, this is the place to be. Spend the day browsing vendor booths, grabbing dinner from food trucks, listening to live music, and watching the waterfront fill with anticipation before the fireworks begin. The boardwalk is also a convenient choice for visitors arriving by ferry.
For a more relaxed, picnic-style viewing experience, head to Evergreen-Rotary Park. Bring chairs or blankets, find a grassy spot, let the kids enjoy the playground and trails, and settle in for a fireworks view across the water. Food trucks and family-friendly activities will be available Saturday afternoon and evening.
Boater note: The fireworks look incredible from the water, but boaters should plan carefully. Evergreen Boat Launch will be closed on June 27, and boat traffic cannot cross under the Manette Bridge from 9:00 p.m. until approximately 10:45 p.m.
One of the best things about Bridge Blast is that the main festival sits right in downtown Bremerton, within walking distance of the ferry terminal.
From Seattle, visitors can arrive via the Kitsap Transit Bremerton Fast Ferry or the Washington State Ferry. From Port Orchard, the Kitsap Transit Foot Ferry makes it easy to turn the event into a car-free summer outing.
The Manette Bridge will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic from 8:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, until 2:00 a.m. Sunday, June 28 to prepare for and host the fireworks show.
Downtown Bremerton has several garages and city lots within walking distance of the festival, including Harborside Garage, Washington Garage, Park Plaza Garage, and city lots near 4th and 5th streets. Event organizers note that downtown on-street parking is free in the evening during the event, and Evergreen Park will have limited additional ADA parking and an ADA drop-off zone until full.
A few quick things will make the day smoother:
Bridge Blast is more than a fireworks show. It is a perfect excuse to turn one summer night into a full Bremerton getaway.
Arrive the evening before, check into a nearby hotel, and start your weekend with dinner downtown. Stroll the waterfront, catch sunset light over the marina, and enjoy Bremerton before the festival crowds roll in.
Spend the day at the boardwalk festival, where live music, vendors, food, and drinks build the mood all afternoon. If you want a picnic-style fireworks experience, head to Evergreen-Rotary Park in the evening. Otherwise, stay waterfront-side and watch the Manette Bridge light up at 10:15 p.m.
Ease into the day with brunch and a slower downtown wander. Visit the USS Turner Joy, Puget Sound Navy Museum, Kitsap History Museum, or Collective Visions Gallery, then swing back through the festival before heading home.
Staying overnight keeps the night festive instead of frantic. Event organizers highlight several Bremerton lodging options near the action, including:
For the easiest experience, book early and stay close enough to walk back after the fireworks.
