Port to Port Pop-Up Ferry 2026 | Bremerton to Silverdale

All aboard for one of Kitsap’s most unique summer adventures! On Saturday, June 13, the Greater Kitsap Chamber invites visitors and locals to experience the Port to Port Pop-Up Ferry aboard the Carlisle II, a historic passenger-only ferry from the Mosquito Fleet era.

For one day only, the Carlisle II will run between Silverdale and Bremerton, offering riders a rare chance to experience Kitsap County from the water. The one-hour boat ride is scenic, memorable, and a beautiful way to connect two waterfront communities by ferry.

Your adventure continues once you step off the boat. In Bremerton, enjoy shopping, dining, and events downtown, or walk to Evergreen Park for the annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival featuring live music, local vendors, food, and family-friendly fun.

In Silverdale, spend time along the waterfront during the Oldtimers Northwest Pre-Father’s Day on the Bay Car Show, explore Old Town restaurants and shops, or take the free shuttle to Kitsap Mall for more dining and shopping options.

Tickets are just $5 roundtrip, and children 5 and under ride free with a paid adult. Boarding is first-come, first-served and tickets do not guarantee a specific sailing time, so plan ahead and arrive early. The Carlisle II has a guest capacity of 140 passengers.

Parking is available at Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, with a free shuttle to the waterfront ferry dock. Please note that pets are not allowed except official service animals. Due to the design of the Silverdale Pier, wheelchair boarding is not available from Silverdale.

Don’t miss this affordable, family-friendly way to ride a piece of Kitsap history and make a full summer day of exploring Bremerton and Silverdale.
