The Art of Patrick Sheehan / Peninsula Film Commission Rally

In the 90’s, Patrick (Ryan) Sheehan was a muralist and graphic designer in Bremerton. He had a prominent mural inside the legendary Zoo Café, was a graphic designer for the Bremerton music rag Earwax Magazine, designed local tattoos and airbrushed vehicles.

After graduating from Olympic high school and double-majoring in Communications & Fine Arts at Peninsula College, then Washington State University, he left for Hollywood and has since became a WGA screenwriter and notable TV and Film producer, working on such projects as “Sly Lives, The Burden of Black Genius” directed by Questlove (Hulu), which premiered at Sundance film festival and was nominated for an Emmy in 2025, hundreds of episodes of television in all formats from reality TV to sitcoms (including writing for TNT/Netflix Franklin & Bash and ABC’S American Housewife (Hulu) and he has a new TV show coming to Apple this January called Neuromancer based on the seminal William Gibson Cyberpunk novel. Sheehan never stopped creating art. And Rimbert Illustration will procure Sheehan’s first Bremerton art show, packed with dozens of original pieces dating back 25+ years, including a special installation featuring original art from his recently-published, Bremerton-centric book “Wedding Scam,” which he plans to turn into a movie and shoot in Kitsap. The show will be a mixture of Bremerton nostalgia and Film/TV business awareness. A silent-auction fundraiser for the newly-formed Peninsula Film Commission, a non-profit designed to increase film production on the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas, which Sheehan has launched in partnership with local leaders. The opening party takes place September 18th from 7-9pm.

It will feature a presentation about the Peninsula Film Commission. His pieces will be on display for one month.
